London ACM SIGGRAPH announces Rainbow Conference!
London, UK - July 12th, 2023 - London ACM SIGGRAPH is thrilled to unveil Rainbow Conference, a highly anticipated post SIGGRAPH wrap-up conference. Taking place from August 29 to 31, 2023, at BFI Southbank in London, this event promises to bring together the most exciting projects, studios, and talent in the VFX and Animation industry.

Rainbow Conference offers an accessible and engaging evening event that encourages networking, collaboration, and celebration of CG achievements. Attendees can look forward to three keynote presentations per evening featuring esteemed speakers from industry leaders such as Industrial Light and Magic, DNEG, Framestore, Chaos Group, Foundry, Axis Studios, CAVE Academy, and more to be confirmed. These presentations will provide valuable insights into the latest trends, cutting-edge technologies, and groundbreaking projects. As with all London ACM SIGGRAPH events, Rainbow Conference is free of charge, aiming to encourage the diversity and inclusivity of attendees.
The conference will also feature a dynamic show floor with studio recruitment booths, including renowned studios like Framestore. Additionally, Rainbow Conference is proud to welcome Escape Studios and Bournemouth University, renowned universities in the field of VFX, Animation, and Games, to the show floor. This collaboration provides students with the opportunity to engage with leading institutions and explore exciting projects, fostering connections between academia and industry.
Participants can take advantage of the popular Bring Your Own Animation (BYOA) and Bring Your Own Comp (BYOC) events, where industry professionals will provide feedback on their work. Attendees will also have the opportunity to attend talks by esteemed speakers such as Scott Pritchard, VFX Supervisor at Industrial Light and Magic, who will present "The VFX of Andor with Industrial Light & Magic," and Archie Donato & Anthony Kemp from DNEG Animation, presenting "This is the Part Where You Run: Exploring the Look of Nimona.", "VFX: Taking Things Back to their Roots - CAVE Academy by Jahirul Amin, a TBC talk from Framestore. Other talks, including a special product announcement by Chaos Group, will be announced soon.
Rainbow Conference will conclude with a thought-provoking panel discussion, featuring industry professionals sharing their expertise and engaging in conversations about the future of the CG industry. The event promises to foster collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing among attendees.
