Reimagining the Sistine Chapel as an Immersive Experience
Cinesite's Immersive Creative Director Maddie Scott-Spencer and Immersive Generalist Lead Kevin Cooney will talk about the challenges involved in reimagining Michelangelo's masterpiece. From adapting the work to fit the gallery space to curating stories and characters, all while working with a modest budget and brief schedule, they will reveal how Cinesite brought the two-minute, high-impact experience to life.

What is RAINBOW SPOTLIGHT?
Rainbow Conference was London's post-SIGGRAPH wrap-up event, bringing together top projects, studios and talent from across the industry. Rainbow Conference united students, professionals and enthusiasts across VFX, animation and games, and helped strengthen London's CGI community into what it is today.
This year, we're evolving. Rather than a single large event, Rainbow Spotlight brings that same spirit into a more focused, regular format — three standalone evenings across September, October and November 2026, each hosted by a different studio at the heart of London's CG scene.
The same commitment to inclusivity and community remains: all events are free to attend, the programme continues to mix industry insight with emerging talent, and the space is open to everyone — from seasoned professionals to students just starting out.

High Attendance and Impact: Our previous conference - Rainbow Conference 2025 was a resounding success, drawing more than 300 attendees over two exciting days at the Barbican Centre. We brought together industry professionals, students, and enthusiasts, creating a vibrant atmosphere for learning and connection.
Top Studio Talent: Over the course of the two days we featured 2 workshops and 10 talks, panel, feedback sessions, ranging from making-of presentations on some of the year's biggest films to boutique companies projects.
