Blue Zoo building ZooKit — a set of tools for digital-first content inside Blender, aimed at shaping a workflow where a small team, or even a single artist, can take a project from initial design all the way to final render. In this talk, Lisa-Mae Evans, Senior Look Dev Artist at Blue Zoo, looks inside that process. It’s an open look at BlueZoo R&D, where they will share their challenges, breakthroughs and what they are learning along the way.

Lisa-Mae is a Senior Look Development Artist within Blue Zoo’s ZooLab team, where she works to define and establish visual styles in 3D from the earliest stages of pre-production. Her role spans texturing, shading, grooming, and lighting—bringing 3D characters and worlds to life across pitches, productions, and short-form content—while driving R&D and innovation in tools and production workflows to support the creative process.
